Wiring a Wall Outlet

Electrical Question: My outside porch electrical outlet (not gfis) (2) stopped working but didnt throw a breaker. Checked all other gfi outlets in the house but none had gone out.

Surge Wall Outlet

Lance asks:
MY OUTSIDE PORCH ELECTRICAL OUTLET (NOT GFIS) (2) STOPPED WORKING BUT DIDNT THROW A BREAKER.
CHECKED ALL OTHER GFI OUTLETS IN THE HOUSE BUT NONE HAD GONE OUT.
ODDLY ENOUGH, I FOUND 2 OTHER NON GFI OUTLETS IN THE GARAGE THAT WENT OUT WITH THE FIRST TWO.
ALL HAD BEEN WORKING PREVIOUSLY.
I USE THE ONE IN THE GARAGE REGULARLY TO CHARGE A HYBRID.
ITs A TWENTY YEAR OLD HOUSE.
COULD I JUST NEED TO REPLACE THE ELECTICAL OUTLETS AND THAT WILL RECONNECT THE CIRCUIT?

CRAZY STUFF because I CAN FIND NO EVIDENCE OF A SURGE TRIPPING A BREAKER OR ANOTHER GFI.
AND THERES THE PART OF THE PORCH BEING SO REMOTE FROM THE FRONT PORCH.
?

UGH
