Florida Licensing Board
The Construction Industry Licensing Board is responsible for licensing and regulating the construction industry. The board meets regularly to consider applications for licensure, to review disciplinary cases, and to conduct informal hearings relating to licensure and discipline. The board engages in rule making to implement the provisions set forth in its statutes and conducts other general business, as necessary.

Florida Building Department
The Department of Business and Professional Regulation licenses and regulates Florida businesses and professionals and building contractors.

NECĀ® National Electrical Code Adoption: 2011
The 2011 NEC was adopted on January 5, 2015 with the 5th Edition of the Florida Building Code. The effective date is July 1, 2015. Florida Energy Codes
The # Energy Code is adopted and required by the Florida Energy Office. This code sets minimum energy efficient buildings.
