Wiring a Main Panel
Electrical Question: New commercial 200amp 1 phase breaker panel, with line power entering from the bottom.
- New commercial 200amp 1 phase breaker panel with line power entering from the bottom. Most wiring is ran out of the top of the new panel.
- Questions:
Can I run power out of the bottom of the panel (MC cable) for the floor lights and emergency exit signs? - Does a group of MC lines bundled together and entering a commercial panel need to have a MC box clamp on the bundle or can I leave them entering through a open box connector (with out a clamp)?
- I put strapping around the bundle at the panel and supported it throughout the building?
This electrical wiring question came from Jake, a Building Contractor in Charleston, West Virginia.
Additional Comments: So far it is easy to read and the information section is easy to use. Great job.
