Electrical Troubleshooting Question:
The outlet for my washer machine stopped working.
The fuse in the electrical box does not trip. I replaced the outlet, is my next step replacing the fuse in the electrical box?

Hi Bob - Great Electrical Repair Question!
Yes you may need to replace the fuse if it is actually bad, and please replace it with the right size for your circuit.
Another thought - what caused the fuse to blow?
You may have another problem, possibly with the washing machine.
Another possibility - some washing machines are protected by a GFCI Device, which in your case, if you do not have a circuit breaker panel the GFI Device would be a GFI Outlet.
Be Careful and Be Safe - Never Work on Energized Circuits!
