    Wiring a Sub Panel

Electrical Question: My contractor is suggesting to install a subpanel for our master bedroom on a wall in our bedroom. We have space on the wall in a closet behind sliding doors in the bathroom but he says that the code forbids that.

    Electrical Safety Sub Panel

    Gregory asks:
My contractor is suggesting to install a subpanel for our master bedroom on a wall in our bedroom.
we have space on the wall in a closet behind sliding doors in the bathroom but he says that the code forbids that.
Years ago we had a subpanel there for our house security system that was removed few years ago.
s suggestion is not suitable for esthetic purpose.
I wonder whether its true that a subpanel can never be placed BEHIND SLIDING MIRROR GLASS DOORS.
    Please advise.
