Why A Garage Receptacle May Not Be Working
![]() |
Checking Electrical Power for a Garage Outlet – there may be a problem with the wiring at this receptacle if all the other receptacles are working normally. Using a plug in outlet circuit analyzer would be very helpful because it will give a lighted display indicating the condition of the circuit and any faults that may be found. © By: Dave Rongey |
Possible Causes for Non-Working Garage Receptacles
[ad#block]Electrical Question: I was using a battery charger in my garage. I went to check on it, and it was off.
The receptacle it was plugged into is now dead and will not power anything.
No breakers were tripped on the electrical panel, and the breaker receptacle in the garage is not tripped.
All of the other receptacles in the garage work normally.
What has happened? Did the receptacle burn out?
