Electrical Question: I am replacing a ceiling fan, having trouble with the wiring. Three wires from the house side, three wires from & to the wall switch, four wires from fan & light. I want constant power to fan & switch to control light, but can’t seem to make it work, why? I can get fan only to work, or light to work when switch is on, no fan, switch off fan works, help

How to Replace an Old Ceiling Fan with a New Ceiling Fan
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.
Tools Required: Basic Electricians Pouch Hand Tools and Voltage Tester.
Estimated Time: Depends on personal level experience and ability to work with tools.
Precaution: Identify the ceiling fan circuit, turn it OFF and Tag it with a Note before working with the wiring.
