Troubleshooting Electrical Circuit Problems
[ad#block] Both lights in my kitchen went out tonight, the fluorescent light started to flicker and then both lights went out and will not come back on.
- I checked the circuit breakers and none are tripped that I can see.
- Also found out the two bedrooms above the kitchen the lights do not work either, the lights are plugged into the wall sockets that run with the kitchen switches.

- The electrical circuit that you are describing has lost a connection within the circuit wiring.
- The circuit will need to be positively identified and turned off.
- All of the associated devices of this circuit will need to be inspected for damage or a loose or deteriorated splice connection.
- Once the cause has been located then the necessary repairs will be required.
- Key locations this problem is typically found are ceiling boxes where incandescent light fixtures have two bulbs or wall receptacle outlets where space heaters are plugged into and used.
