Electricity Cost Monitor
Electrical Question: Where can the Clamp Modules of an Electricity Monitor be Installed?
My electrical wiring project involves an Installing an Electricity Cost Monitor.
- I have an electricity cost monitoring device that has a display in the home to tell me how much electricity I am using etc., and it gets its data via a radio linked module that clamps around the line from the meter. Unfortunately due to the distance and layout of the building I cannot attach the sender unit to the meter and was wondering if it was possible to have it installed on the live incoming line in my consumer unit instead.
This electrical wiring question came from John, a Handyman in the UK.
