Color Variations With Conduit Wiring Method
[ad#block] Electrical Repairs Question: My home was built in 1967. It has single strand wiring through conduit. It appears most of the application is blue for hot and white for neutral. The project is installing a new light fixture in my bathroom, following a remodel. From the wall switch, the top terminal has an yellow wire, the bottom a yellow wire up to the junction box for the fixture (which is on wall, not ceiling). Also at the fixture junction box comes a white wire. The basic question is, what are my connections?

Conduit and Electrical Wiring
Tim, the white neutral remains the same, however the power source is the blue wire and switched power to the light fixture will be the yellow wire.
