Wiring for a typical 120Volt Electrical Outlet
Electrical Wire to Outlet Screw
- Black Wire to the Brass Screw
- White Wire to the Silver Screw
- Copper Ground Wire to the Green Ground Screw

This is a testing tool that I have had in my personal electrical tool pouch for years, and is the first test tool I grab to help identify electrical wiring.
