Warm GFCI Outlets
[ad#block]Outlet Question: I recently installed a GFCI outlet in my kitchen. The old black live wire was too short so I  “Jerry-Rigged” an extension so that I could install the new outlet. I noticed over the pass few days that this outlet feels slightly warm to the touch. I’m not sure if this has to do with the small green light on the new GFCI outlets, or if it should be of concern to me. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
