Tripping GFI Outlet in Laundry Room
[ad#block]Question: Why does the GFCI outlet in my laundry room keep popping every time my clothes washer goes into the rinse cycle?

This electrical question came from: David, a Homeowner from Hobart, IN

Dave’s Reply:
Thanks for your electrical question David.
David, is this area dry? If everything looks dry then you may need to replace the gfi outlet.  The gfi outlet is only required if the outlet is within 6 feet of a sink.
