Approved Fixture Boxes and Support for Heavy Fixtures
[ad#block]I have a 65 lbs chandelier that needs an installation in lieu of a light that was installed by the builder.
- I do not know if the light outlet is equipped to handle the weight of chandelier what should I do?
- Do I need to install a lift for the chandelier?

Dave, an light fixture box that is approved for the weight of the light fixture will need to be securely installed and supported to insure a safe installation of this light fixture.
