Electrical Wiring Diagrams To Help Troubleshooting Light Switches
[ad#block]Electrical Repair Question: I have hot wires and ground to a switch that operate a light. I want to be able to turn it on and off but unable to do so. It turns on correctly but blows circuit switch every time the switch is toggled off. The wiring must be installed incorrectly. Please provide wiring suggestions and type of switch required for this application. Will a single pole switch work? I have three wires to the switch ground and two hot. I want to be able to switch power on and off the the appliance – light.
