Electrical Question about: Solar Lighting
Received from Jeffrey a Homeowner in Highland, IL
[ad#block]Question: I wanted to do a DIY solar outdoor light project and I was wondering about a specific issue. I’ve found some LED lights online and wanted to know if those could be used directly from a charge controller via a 5amp hour 12V DC battery.
I was thinking the order would be:
Solar panel to Charge controller to battery
Then charge controller to photo eye (night time running) to LED module.
My main question is whether the module would handle direct line out from the charge controller.
Additional Comments: Great site I appreciate the ability to use this as a great reference source.
