[ad#block]Question: Hi, I have a Marey Corp. electric, instant hot water heater, Model MINI that I want to install in my RV. It requires a 30 amp plug in. The plug looks like a regular plug (not 30 amp). It states on the box that you must have a dedicated 30 amp plug in for this unit. Can I convert this to 15 amps and run on plugs in camper or do I have to run a dedicated 30 amp plug to the outside pole?
Dave’s Reply:
Thanks for your electrical question Kathy. It states on the box that you must have a dedicated 30 amp plug in for this unit, therefore you have to install a dedicated 30 amp circuit.
