Ceiling Fan Pull Chain Switch Checklist
One simple mistake can prevent your new ceiling fan from working, here’s what to check
- Most ceiling fans have pull chain switches that control the light and fan motor separately so make sure the pull chain switches are in the right control position.
- Theses pull chain switches are placed in the circuit position which will prevent any other switch or remote control from operating. Often the pull chain switches will have more than one setting, such is the case with the fan speeds which are commonly high, medium, low and off.
