Electrical Question from Michael about 220 Volt Wiring Diagram
Background: Michael, a Homeowner from Schenectady, New York
[ad#block]Question: Is there any advantage to wiring a fractional horsepower pool pump at 240 volts compared to 120 volts?
Dave’s Reply:
Thanks for your electrical question Michael. The advantage would be a much faster start and if the rest of the equipment requires 240 volt then it may be easier to wire all the equipment for 240 volt just to keep the controls straight forward.
