[ad#block] Electrical Question: Do I need to replace the transformer with a 30VA?

I am replacing an HVAC ignition control.
The current (original) transformer in the system is 60HZ 230V Load 24V 40VA.
The new replacement ignition control is a Honeywell S8610U3009 which is a replacement for the original Johnson Control G600AX-1 unit.
Looking at the specifications on the new Honeywell unit, I see that it has: Control Voltage:
Line 24 V (18-30 Vac) 50/60 Hz.
If my existing transformer is 40VA, do I need to replace the transformer with a 30VA?

Ignition Control Transformer
- As long as the existing transformer is producing 24volts it will not need to be replaced.
- The existing 40VA transformer will provide the same level of power needed for the replacement ignition control.
