Electrical Question: Is there a way to repair damaged electrical wires in a conduit that is inside a wall?

Bob asks:
Flex Conduit in block wall with damaged 14 2 wires
Drilling through a cinder block wall damaged a Flex Conduit and one or both 14 2 wires.
The wires go to an outside GFCI outlet, and an inside bedroom outlet.
I cannot pull the wires out to examine them, and the circuit breaker tripped once the conduit was hit.
Is there a way to extract the wires and or the flex conduit?

Repairing Damaged Electrical Wires
Application: Repair Damaged Wire a GFCI Outlet.
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced – Best performed by a Licensed Electrical Contractor, or Certified Electrician.
Electrical Tools Required: Basic Electricians Pouch Hand Tools, Voltage Tester, and appropriate Safety Gear.
Estimated Time: Depends on the personal level experience, ability to work with tools, install electrical circuit wiring, and the available access to the project area.
Electrical Safety: Identify the electrical power source to the GFCI Outlet, turn it OFF and Tag with a Note before working with the electrical wiring.
Electrical Wiring Parts and Materials: Electrical parts and materials for the GFCI Outlet should be approved for the specific project and compliant with local and national electrical codes.
Electrical Codes and Inspections: Installing or changing home electrical wiring should be done according to local and national electrical codes as adopted in your specific area of Wyoming. A permit and inspections may also be required.

Disconnect and Expose the Wiring
From what you have described, the other end of the flex conduit would need to be exposed, and the wiring would have to be disconnected and loose before attempting to pull the damaged wire out of the flex conduit.Replace the Wires
The section of these 14-2 wires that have been damaged will need to be replaced.Locate Each End of the Wiring
If it is possible to expose the full path of the wiring as it leads to the electrical boxes at each end then replace the entire section, otherwise accessible junction boxes will need to be installed at each location where the ends of the flex conduit is located.Identify Each Cable Set and the Wires
Be careful to identify each 14-2 cable wire set individually before cutting out any wiring, so the replacement wiring may be connected to the right wire set.
