Installing Dimmer Switches for Stairway Lighting
[ad#block] I am going to install a dimmer switch at the bottom of the stairs switch.
- There is also a switch that controls the lights at the back door.
- I plan on only dimming these lights with the Switch at the bottom of the stairs.
- There is also a switch here which controls the hall light and also there is a switch at the top of the stairs which can control this light too.
- The switch I am taking off has a black wire top right, a red wire lower right , and a red wire top left.
- My new dimmer switch has two black wires and a green wire coming from the back of it.
- Where do I connect these wires from the old switch to the wires to the new dimmer switch.
