Electrical Question from CARLOS about Wiring a 220 Volt Stove
Received from CARLOS a Homeowner in Grand Prairie, Texas
[ad#block]Question: I am connecting a new electric oven in a junction box. The box is attached to the 2X4 with a wood screw.
Aluminum wiring from the circuit breaker has red white and black wire. No green ground and the junction box has no ground. New stove has Red, White, Black and Green Wire. I know colors match for hook up and the green ground attaches to junction box
How is junction box grounded? Should the box be grounded?
