Electrical Question about: Wiring Diagram

[ad#block]Question: I have a 12 vdc Shurflo, smart sensor 15 amp requirement, r.v. pump that i am trying to wire to work in my home. I am trying to wire to an electrical cord so i can plug it into my home. Now I wired the red cord from the pump to the black wire on the 3 prong cord. Then I wired the black wire from the pump to the white wire on the cord. I then capped the last green wire on the cord. When I plugged it in, the fuse blew. What did i do wrong and or what steps do I need to take?
