Outlet Testing and GFCI Wiring
[ad#block]Question: I am replacing a GFCI per the instructions and I am hooked up on the LINE side (Black (hot), white and ground. At this point the receptacle is working fine. As soon as I hook up the LOAD side I cannot get the GFCI to reset and stay on. What say you about this, do I have a problem on the LOAD side wiring? This receptacle has been working in the past as the house is some 3 years old. The GFCI is in a storage room in the basement.

Thanks in advance for your insights,

Dan
