How to Know What Plug to Use for an Electric Clothes Dryer
- No Carmen, a 15 amp 3 prong outlet would not work because it is not the right type of circuit.
- An electric dryer requires a dedicated 30 amp 240 volt circuit and the compatible cord and plug.
