Automatic Gate Openers and Actuator Configuration
[ad#block]Electrical Question: I have an Elite Automatic Gate opener actuator, which is discontinued. The gate openers are opening in the opposite direction. The master is wired red to black, green to green, white to white. The slave is wired black to black, red to red, white to white, green to green. I’ve tried to wire the master the same as the slave-no power. I haven’t had this problem before when I have changed out the slave operator. I have never had to change the master until now and didn’t know it was wired differently. I also tried to replace the slave operator and still had the gates opening opposite. I bought extra operators before they discontinued the model. I also have an extra panel board.

Automatic Gate Opener Configuration
- I have installed Automatic Gate Openers and with some you may be required to adjust a jumper on the main circuit board or the actuator circuit board to indicate the direction of travel.
- This should be fully explained in the installation manual.

How to Reset a Duraswing Gate
Duraswing has a few different models of gate motors and operators.
This information is specific to the Durnswing Model DWS2000:
The information regarding the DuraSwing Swing Gate Operator indicates that there is either a external reset button, or there are Built-in On/Off and Reset switches that can be accessed through the cover if desired.
A system reset may also be accomplished by turning the system power OFF, and then back ON.
