Trench Depth for Solar Power Conduits
Question: I have a question about an installation of solar panels. I have #3 wire running from the panels 110 ft to the house installed in ENT. How deep of a trench do I need?

How deep of a trench do I need I know it must be marked with caution tape. but I am not sure on the depth. I think its 1 meter 39″ I would really like for you to tell me the trench depth.

Robin – This will take a little research due to the Canadian Electrical Codes, the province of Bruce Mines Ontario and specifically Solar. My initial research brought back several different depths for the trench.
