Additional Comments: Very nice

Dave’s Reply:
Thanks for your electrical question Dee. I have never heard of a fuse box beeping. I’m wondering if there is something else in the area which is causing the beep?

My circuit breaker box started beeping about every 30 seconds yesterday. It is not hot to touch and I reset all breakers even though they were not tripped and it is still beeping. It is located in my garage. There are no smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors anywhere near. It is coming from the box. Any idea what could be going on with it?

  2. Dave Rongey says:

    Hi Kris,
The beeping sound that you are hearing at the circuit breaker box may be coming from something that is near or in the same location. The beeping could be from something that has a low battery, or a high or low temperature alarm, or some other type of notification device or monitoring system. If there is a generator system at your house that has a control panel that monitors the generator system it could be a low battery alarm indicator. Also check to see if the beeping is coming from something located on the opposite side of the wall.
    I hope this helps,
    Dave

No, not the Water Heater. Right now it makes that BEEP every minute or so. It’s a warm night, and maybe it has something to do with humidity?

But it is definitely coming from behind the Sylvania Circuit Breaker panel.
What is it trying to tell me?
