[ad#block]Electrical Question: I’m doing some self wiring. I’m installing a exhaust fan in a double wide.
I’ve put two rocker switches in the wall, one to operate the exhaust by itself, and one to operate the light in it and the one above the vanity.
Ive got one rocker switch that will turn the light in it off and on, but the other switch will turn the vanity light on with the exhaust fan.
What can I do to get the vanity light to come one with the exhaust light separate from the fan?

Wiring Switches for a Bath Exhaust Fan
- Michael, as long as the existing light fixture and the added exhaust fan are sharing the same power source then the switches may be wired as you are planning.
- The power will be shared for both switches, one switch wired for the exhaust fan light, the other switch having both the exhaust fan and the vanity light connected together, and the neutrals and ground wires connected as well.
