Ceiling Fan and Light
Electrical Question: My son and I replaced a ceiling fan in his bedroom. The fan and light were working prior to replacing.

My son and I replaced a ceiling fan in his bedroom. The fan and light were working prior to replacing. We hooked up the new fan – nothing works. Thinking we purchased a bad fan, we replaced the old fan. It doesn’t work either. I checked the switch (dual – one switch for light, one for fan) – everything looks good. It was replaced about 1 year ago. We checked the circuit breaker – we checked all the GFI’s in the house, etc. I know we have the wiring correct – white to white, black blue to black, and green to copper wire. The only thing I haven’t done is go into the attic and check the source there. Maybe we loosened a wire, during the process of changing the fan? Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
