[ad#block]Question: When installing a heat sensor/smoke alarm in kitchen, and 2 additional smoke alarms in hallway, is it ok to run 1.5mm 3 core and earth from consumer to kitchen alarm and then 1.5mm twin and earth from kitchen alarm to next two?

Thanks for your electrical question Rob. It is typical for newer installations of smoke detectors to be connected in series so that if one goes into alarm, they all do.
