GFCI Receptacle Locations For Outdoor Lighting Transformer
[ad#block] I will install 12v outdoor landscape lighting, and I understand the outdoor transformer must be plugged into a GFCI Protected circuit.
- Power will come to the outdoor receptacle via a switch that is already on the wall in my house, via the crawlspace.
- By code, must the GFCI device be in the crawlspace where it would be inconvenient to press the reset button, or can it be outside at the transformer, probably under my wooden deck?
