Hi Dave,
We used to have the same problem (in our case the kids would leave and forget to close the garage door) so I went looking on the internet and found a product called Garagehawk. It connects to our garage door opener to monitor when it’s open. Then you plug in the other module into any outlet you would easily see and it lights up red so you can see it from inside the house. We got an extra module too that we put in our hallway upstairs. That way we can make sure it’s closed before we go to bed at night. The best part is that you just push the button and it closes the garage door from there so we don’t have to go back downstairs and to the garage to close it. We love it!
Thanks for sharing Ani – Great information!
