I replaced my old 3-way switches with new ones and now the 2 hallway lights only work when one of the switches is on/active (this is not the switch in which the hot wire is located).
Electrical Question from Chris about 3 Way Switch Diagram
[ad#block]Question: I replaced my old 3way switches with new ones and now the 2 hallway lights only work when one of the switches is on/active (this is not the switch in which the hot wire is located).
- Ill try again, the lights only switch on & off from the switch that has the hot leg in it – if the other three way is left on – if I switch that one off the 1st switch (with the hot leg) wont turn on the lights.
- Obviously I’m am confused – so any help in this matter or where to start the trouble shooting would be of great help
Thanks for your electrical question.
