Controlling a Waterfall with a Switch or Automation

A waterfall is typically supplied with power that is protected by a GFCI circuit or GFCI Receptacle. The wiring is installed in protective conduit or direct burial cable. A switch may be wired to control the waterfall either before the GFCI Plug or after. You may also choose to control the waterfall with a switch inside the home, or even a timer switch. If you really want to get fancy you can add an automated control device, such as an X-10 or other Home Control where you can add special programming features. Other features may be added for more gardening enjoyment such as lighting as well.
