Telephone Problems and How to Fix Them
[ad#block] Electrical Question: Our phone suddenly quit working because of the wiring to the phone jack.
- I have my home phone service which is bundled with my TV and modem.
- Our phone suddenly quit working and the service company told me it’s because the electrical wiring to the phone jack in the house is bad and that an electrician would have to replace it.
- In everything I’ve read, the phone provider is responsible for the phone electricity.
- Do I need to get an electrician to do this work? My husband is very handy and has installed fans, outlets, etc in our house.
- Is it possible that he could also repair this phone jack outlet?
Thanks, Colleen.
