  1. Jessica says:

I have a rental property and some outlets and bathroom do not have power after someone used blow dryer in one of the outlets. They try to reset the circuit breaker but one particular circuit breaker attached to all these outlets and bathroom and washing machine is making a grinding noise but power does not reset and turn back on. What should I do?
    Thank you for the help

  2. Dave Rongey says:

    Hi Jessica,
Check to see if there are any GFCI outlets that may be tripped off in the bathroom area, and if so then press the Reset Button to restore power to the outlets. If this does not work then the circuit breaker and wiring should be examined by a qualified electrician to see if there is an overload condition, or if the circuit breaker needs to be replaced. Please be aware that the bathroom outlets should not be on the same circuit as the washing machine, otherwise this could create an overloaded condition.
    I hope this helps,
