Electrical Question from John about Light Switch Wiring

Received from John a Handyman in Iowa

[ad#block]Question: I am installing 6 recessed lights to be switched 4 and 2 separately. Power come from ceiling south wall and switching will be on north wall. 4 fixtures L1-2-3-4 will be in corners and 2 fixtures will be along north wall L5 and L6. I want to run power to L1 and then to L2 then to the (SW1) switch and get power to L3 and L4 in NE and SE corners. Can I use L2 in NW corner as junction box to feed L5 and L6 and how do I wire to the (SW2) switch? The room is rectangular. Thanks.

Additional Comments: great service

Thanks for your electrical question.
This was a paid question where I dealt directly with John specifically about his electrical project.
The summary of this project is to take the power source directly to the switch locations, then wire from the switch up to the light fixtures. Recessed light fixtures have junction boxes with limited space so they should not be used for distributing the circuit to other locations.
