Thanks for your electrical question Sam. Depending on the containment of the fixtures, how far the fixtures will be apart and if the wiring will be vulnerable to damage you could either use 3-wire lamp cord and the appropriate cord connectors or you could protect the wiring by installing a flexible conduit and conduit fittings. The wire size should be no less than 14 gauge. A cord could be added to one of the fixtures which would have a 3-wire male cord cap for plugging into the wall. If the light table is in a commercial style work area where there is surface conduit installed then flexible conduit should connect to a junction box where a switch could be installed. Alternatively, a switch box could be added to the light table and mounted in a convenient location. Be sure to secure the fixtures and protect the lamps. Bond the ground wire to the fixture enclosures and use snug fitting wire connectors for your splices.
