[ad#block] Electrical Question: I Need to Place A Disconnect Between A Radial Saw And The Main Power Breaker.

• The Voltage Is 220 Volt 3 Phase With A Ground.
• The Disconnect Box That I Have Is a 30 Amp Box With 3 Wire Lugs In And 3 Wire Lugs Out But No Lug For The Ground Wire.

My Question Is If I Wire Nut The Ground Wires Together Is This Ok To Do And Is It To Code?

How to Bond The Ground

• The ground wires can be spliced together however the metal disconnect enclosure must have a ground bonded to it as well.
• This can be done using a pigtail wire from the splice or by mounting a short terminal strip to the disconnect switch using a threaded machine screw.
