Teresa, the circuit that provides power for these areas may have lost the connection to the neutral wire or the hot wire. If this circuit is being used to power a space heater or other large electrical device then the outlet that the device is plugged into should be examined for a burnt connection either at the outlet connections or at an electrical wire splice inside the outlet box. The electrical power should be turned off before any inspections or work is done.
