Electrical Question From Robert About Troubleshooting
Question: Unfortunately, we are having to turn our air conditioners on already in the Midwest. I have two units, one for each level of my house. My unit downstairs will not turn on. I checked the fuse outside and swapped it with the upstairs unit and it still did not work.
Electrical Question about: Troubleshooting
Received from Robert a Homeowner in Belleville, Illinois
[ad#block]Question: Unfortunately, we are having to turn our air conditioners on already in the Midwest. I have two units, one for each level of my house. My unit downstairs will not turn on. I checked the fuse outside and swapped it with the upstairs unit and it still did not work. I have a blown breaker in my breaker box that when I tried to reset, it popped and sparked. I know I have a junction box that may have some loose wiring but assumed the air conditioner was on a separate run. Would there be any other reason for my air not to work?
