Question: 1. Why is it that in some house after using electricity for about a year, then after some time without bring in any other equipment or any home devices, then the bill for the cost of electricity start raising? |
Electrical Question from Edem about 220 Volt Wiring Diagram
Received from Edem a Homeowner in Ghana Accra, Golf City.
[ad#block]Question: 1. Why is it that in some house after using electricity for about a year, then after some time without bring in any other equipment or any home devices, then the bill for the cost of electricity start raising?
If it the earlthed things system then why now?
2. In the same house but the apartment are 6′ apart, the 1st one is without any air conditioner but the 2nd has. The supply to this house is a single phase supply, the 1st apartment was having the meter and it was removed to the 2nd apartment and earlthed, the 2nd apartment is with an air conditioner. The bill was 50 ghana cedis for about 8 mouths but now the bill is 150 ghana cedis. Why that raise in the cost now our days.
This is my first time ever question.

1- I guess the is a decline in efficency with elements and the same for any appliance which requires a current, makes sense.heat the cause. the power companies sometimes guess your bill based on averages etc.
2- Wrong tariff, meters are still connected as first discussed, slack power company??
