Question – Dimmer Switches – Part 1

I purchased two Lutron Maestro MA – 1000 dimmers switches. I included pictures of the way I wired them. Power is at both switches. No lights.
[ad#block]Here’s what I believe the problem is based upon what you explained:
You were sold the Lutron MA-1000 Dimmers. You cannot use both of these dimmers together for the same fixtures. Rather you need to exchange one of them to be a MA-R. I retrieved this information off of Lutron’s Website, they may also be reached at: 1-800-523-9466.
Lutron has a great line of dimmers. Make sure you are purchasing the right dimmers for your application. There are a lot of different makes and styles of dimmers to choose from depending on your desired type of control, and depending on your exact fixture lamps.

Lutron MA-1000|Incandescent Maestro Preset Smart Dimmer 1000W The MA-1000 Dimmer from Lutron. **For multi-location dimming, use (1) Lutron MA-1000 and the Lutron MA-R in place of your 3-way and 4-way switches. Features a clean, flush, stylish appearance.
