Why Ceiling Fan Lights do not Work
- The first thing I would check is the position of the pull chain switch on the ceiling fan light fixture.
- Light Bulbs – Check or change the light bulbs.
- Remote Control Switch – Does the Remote control over ride the manual control of your switch.

Lights work but no fan ,from wall switch. Remote won’t do anything. Can i jump out the module in the fan and just operate the fan from the pull chain?
Ray – By passing the remote control module would depend on the exact ceiling fan make and model. If it is not working properly then I would go back and double check all the connections. Also make sure the battery in the remote control is good.
