[ad#block]Question: My wife shorted out a coffee maker and now the receptacles in the bedroom do not work. I have already changed out the circuit breaker but the receptacles still do not have power.

Lost Power to Receptacle Outlet Circuit
Gerald, it is very possible that there is a GFCI Outlet in the kitchen that has tripped off and just needs to be reset.

Please note that the bedroom receptacles should not be on the same electrical circuit as the kitchen small appliance circuit.
