Electrical Question: I am running power to a garage, do I need more than one conduit for the electrical wires?
- I am going to be running a 50amp, 30amp, and 20amp circuit to my garage. It is a 50 foot run.
- My question is can I run #6, 10 gauge and 12 gauge wire all in one PVC conduit or will I need two?
- The conduit wire fill chart is confusing when running different size wires.

- Del, from what you have described, you could install all the wiring inside one PVC conduit. The size of the conduit will depend on the number of bends, and it is advisable to oversize the conduit to make it easier to pull the wire, and provide extra space for any additional circuits later on.
- SUGGESTION: I would urge you to consider having a sub panel installed, this way you will have only one set of wires out to the garage panel, and the panel will have its own main breaker, as well as the circuit breakers for the individual outlets and lighting as needed. Adding additional circuits as needed in the future will be much easier as well.
