How to Install Conduit for a Hot Tub Circuit
Methods for Installing Electrical Conduit for a Hot Tub
Hot Tub Electrical Circuit Conduit
Electrical Question: I bought a 220v hot tub. It is a direct wire. I have a 50 amp panel on one side of a utility shed to supply outdoor power to a variety of things. I bought a 30 amp breaker for the hot tub. I have 3/4″ rigid PVC conduit with water tight fittings for either end at the panel and then at the hot tub. I know conduit running over open ground needs to be in a trench, but can I fix the conduit to the exterior of the utility shed to the point where I need to go into the trench, or do I need to trench from the panel to the hot tub all the way?
