    Roxanne, if your describing the two wires that connect to the 240 volt heating element then it should not matter because the heating element is not polarity sensitive.

    I have a Kenmore front loading dryer that the heating element broke. I took off the front panel, disconnected the wires, and took the element in to have it tested. The element itself was fine, I just needed to replace the other two parts (fuses or thermostat I think?) Anyways, now I dont know what wires go to what, and I dont understand the schematics. can you help?
